The next couple of months were strange for the oddball couple. Gruul, still unsure what he was supposed to feel, after hearing the news of him becoming a dad soon, soon changed. While Adonis had a nicer hue and glow to him, it was Gruul whom he noticed the biggest subtle changes.

While the big orc wasn't much of a romantic, as he was not raised with any concepts of love and affection (instead raised as a hardened warrior), he soon started to show what Adonis could see as excitement, and pride. Gruul would make some contact with the triton's belly, admiring how big his offspring were getting every month, and within this first few months smirks soon changed into complete smiles. Even though the two have shared the same bed for a year, this was the first time the orc actually held Adonis close to him.

Adonis knew this orc suffered from a severe form of trauma in the past, but that was changing.

Gruul's life was saved by Adonis, ironically purchasing him during his slave years and was set free, but the orc chose to be besides the triton. At the time he didn't know why Adonis wasn't beating him or ordering him around, but was instead being fed home cooked meals instead of scraps or having to hunt (which he still did once in a while), given clothes instead of having to make them himself with cheap fabrics, and overall being nice to him. He soon came to realize that he was actually a free orc, and for once felt happy about something. Now he was becoming a father to three.

For those of you wondering, those black markings on his face are tattoos. I believe Adonis is about 4 months here so far.
