I sketched this up around the time Reignited was announced, though I guess I forgot to post this here.

Spyro was possibly my first video games (it was either Spyro or Harvest Moon: Back to Nature!) and it remains very important to me. I don't have a PS4 to play the game on now, but I will be dropping money on Reignited as soon as it hits the Switch.

I kept thinking that it would be really neat if there was a very large, ancient dragon frozen in stone. Imagine one so big that it was practically a level in of itself-- something that Spyro would have to scale.

I want to fully rend this sketch some day but, for now, I'm too happy wtih it to not post it.
