My big joy in life for the past two years has been our fight club. Mostly because of the guys we're training with. (I'm the only girl there) They are amazing, especially the one on the picture. It's just a few of us, and we do a lot of things: Balintawak - stick fighting; knife fighting; box; general self-defense. It's the only place I feel comfortable at.
Now we're training to build up self-confidence, not to blink and not to turn away while boxing. I'm not really good at it yet, but I'm trying :)
So I thought I'd share it with you, guys, as it's a pretty important part of my life now.

Oh yes, I know what you mean! From the other side tho XD I am the least experienced there, all the other guys have been doing martial arts for all their lives. They are in their 30th-40th and are very tough. So they are trying to take it easy on me, even though I've never asked for it or complained. But that's alright, I'm still learning a lot from them every time.
Hey, that's awesome! I love fencing! I'd love to try it too, but yeah, it's hard to start from the very beginning now, I think most of the fencing "clubs" are for the kids/teenagers here where I live. At least that's what I see from their advertising pics. But maybe I'm wrong... I need to look it up. I hope you can do this again soon!
