This is my first major digital piece I did early in the year. I think it’s alright for a first go. After doing this pic I realized that I might want to get myself a graphics tablet so I got an intuos 4.

So this is metal dragon, looking at the design now I think next time I draw him he will a bit less basic and stuff. His helmet completely covers his eyes which has heightened his other senses but he can still get lost a little.

picture was originally line arted on a piece of thick paper at my first anime convention in January XD took it too school and scanned it in and coloured it. I reckon all up the sketch was 15 minutes, line art 30 and colouring probably... 20 hours? Maybe more. The background took ages to do It’s just one massive layer.
