I haven't missed the entire Chapter 1, I just make light of her one-upping their drama with what would normally be the biggest lie the new kid could tell. Her entire problem stems from the fact that in her case- she isn't lying.
"Welcome to detention. I'm Mister Cool. What's your name?"
"I'm the secret daughter of Bill Gates."
See how that sounds?
