i do maybe 60%... okay 70%... only because some of the heads look really...... idk.. not right? idk.. lol.. but some of the other bits really ARE amazing.. im just glad that i was able to convert him!! lol

yeah i tried my hardest to make the chainsword look as CLOSE to the original (using two of the newer ones together).. and even did a little wolf head thingy at the hilt (which, i think i juuuust might have to redo..) but it was hard tho.. XD

i didnt use any of the new termi kit stuff.. just the new GH/BC pack, plus some of the old sprue.. but i luckily scored a wolf pelt cape from someone.. idk what its for or from.. prolly fantasy.. but it works PERFECTLY... hehe

but otherwise, yeah i miss the old wolf head backpack.. oh and yeah, used the wolf helmet for the shoulder.. hehehe

He looks pretty spiff- simple conversion, but sometimes the simplest are the best!

yeah, its pretty simple (considering he's the second attempt).. but all in all, trying to get the details with the green stuff is the hardest.. lol

Ohh, definitely. Greenstuff can be a total pain- and then there's the whole 'is it a 'hard edge' or a soft material' issue, where you'll need to use different putties. Greenstuff is best for 'soft' materials, such as cloth, fur, and hair. where grey/brownstuff (formulated differently- apoxie sculpt is a great greystuff that I use at times) is best for hard edges, like plate armor, weapon blades/handles, claws. I usually will use styrene pipe or even some scrap wire for the hafts of long pole-arm type weapons, if they're scratch-built. Example: my 'Banshee wraithlady' conversion uses both green and greystuffs, and her dadao's handle is made from a piece of #10 copper wire.

not at the moment. im doing less conversions these days and more painting and gaming. just kinda getting into warmachine.

i almost got into that.. and i tell ya.. i woulda spent like.. alooot more money if i did.. and on top of that AT 43 too! shit.. my gaming buddies were trying so hard to recruit me! I love the work and effort put into this. But....I'm such a firm believer of NOT using characters EVER in a game. Or if theres gonna be characters, GW seriously needs to restrict them to 2000 point and above battles, personal opinion its just crap when you're playing a 750 point game and someone busts out Kharne or Ragnar.

although i do agree that special characters are badass, i would have to say that, the reason i started plying the wolves in the first place was because of ragnar.. lol

BUT.. i do agree with you on the use of special characters in a low points game. i took njal and 2 grey hunter squads and a blood claw squad in a 750 pt game. it was where i was REALLY getting my ass kicked and was just about to lose.... then njal cast his most powerful building up power thing that ended up winning me the game.. i felt bad.. but.. it was really close!

but it really depends on who you play.. if anything, i would really talk about it before playing.. because the whole rule of NOT using a special character really used to suck for me because i love this guy.. lol

Well its in Games Workshop stores, so they're ALWAYS pushing characters on young players, making'em sound "cool" and your Army is crap without this guy.
