Also love the Earth! Fire! Wind! Water! Heart! Catapult! sequence -- if *only* the actual horrendous comic had Catapult! -- then it might have had a little redeeming value. That was one of those true cultural nadirs - right down there with He-Man.

I'm pretty sure those animals could understand him if they already spoke so yes. And he can talk telepathically to anyone. However the power of empathy is the important thing. With the right manipulation, he could make a powerful dictator. He doesn't have the most physically damaging power, but with some planning, his power is the best overall i think.
