Get a bit of an arm workout and reward yourself after with a bit of chocolately fudge
What you need
9/5 inch glass or ceramic pan
Butter to grease the pan
Parchment paper
Small stovetop sauce pan (1qt minimum, 2qt recommended)
300-340g of semi sweet chocolate (this can vary a bit on preference but these are recommended low and high)
400g sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
Optional: anything you like in fudge, but remember, it’s not two ingredient if you do...
Prepare you ceramic or glass pan by applying melted butter all over the inside. Then line with parchment paper and grease that too. Skip the parchment paper at your discretion, but it will make it that much harder to get the end product out.
In your sauce pan add both the semi sweet chocolate and sweetened condensed milk. On low heat (this is crucial it’s low or you may burn your chocolate) stir until it’s all a melted together congealing mass. It’ll be thick when it’s ready
Add any optional you want now and mix. Pour into your greased and line pan. Spread out so it’s even, then shake it a bit to ensure you’ve gotten as many bubbles out as possible. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
After the refrigeration, remove from pan and slice to your preferred size. Oh, and eat the corner pieces. Nobody will ever know.
