1. Rexes have small arms. But they have very big teeth.
2. Rexes are competitive. And they are very bad losers.

A Tyrannosaur's arms are RELATIVLY small, but they still have roughly 4X the muscle mass of a human arm. So personally I'd have beaten that guy fairly, THEN eaten him! ;) Well, if I'd agreed to mess about with a contest in the first place.
