This is the first drawing of Lamé as you know him today. He looked wildly different, as I modeled him to look a bit more like his brother than he does now.

His neck ring and ears haven't taken their distinctive shapes yet, and his wrists don't have the feathering yet. One of the main troubles I had with his design, other than the shape of his tailtip, was his feathering. I couldn't decide whether it should be under the dark rings as pictures here, on top of them. I eventually decided on the latter.

As for his tail, I used the smooth-furred tip as seen above for several months, before realizing, due to some aspects of his character, that the fur would be sort of dry and kinky as seen in the final version.
