Things feel a little more real now.
I got the rest of the pieces cut for the main box, got slots cut for the glass, gave everything a final glance and glued it all together. Tomorrow night I'll cut the top portion off with my table saw to make the lid, add some embellishments with my router table, add a slight char with my torch and probably spend 2 days hand sanding the whole thing before hinging the lid, adding a finish and mailing out my first completed commission. I'm hoping everything will be done so i can mail it out either Saturday or Monday.
