This is Bertha! a large female sunkist Orange freshwater shrimp. She has a very touching story that has made me feel better to know shes a survivor too. The person I bought Bertha from did not send these little amazing guys the right way... Live Animals was not put on the box and the batch she was sent in sat in the post office for 5 days... When they arrived.... the horrible fear had come to be... while the box itself was packaged well without that label workers don't know whats in the box and fragile isn't enough... All of them were DEAD on arrival with 3 barely alive her being the 4th. I had hoped the other 3 would make it but one died before water acclimation could be done and the other two died over the next few days just being too exausted to survive...but Bertha! Bertha not only is large she is a tough girl and a pleasant surprise when I found out she has EGGS! Shes my only Orange and has become one of my personal favorites. I took this photo of her this morning as I awoke to be greeted by her.
