I have written this song in the past couple days. On a seemingly unrelated note, I was talking to a friend about something I tend to fantasize about over the same time period (if you know me, you know what I'm talking about). Then as this song approached completion, I showed it to my good friend Ian who said that it gives off a feeling of "yearning" or "deep-held desire". I had no idea, because at the time I was just composing the song and just going with what "sounded good". But after Ian said that, I realized he was correct. It's amazing how sometimes artwork can give away the mood of its artist, even if the artist doesn't realize it at the time. I decided to name this "Ardor of a Fantasy" to reflect my own self that showed itself through this song.
