Oh cool, a D-7! Nothing inspires rage in my like a "Klingon" Bird of Prey (ROMULAN ship unfortunately turned into a Klingon ship due to a script cut in Star Trek 3). Then there was the "Klingon Warbird" typo in Enterprise (which the producers admitted was an error) and now the IDIOTS who made the new Star Trek cemented the mistaken designation as canon due to their complete disinterest in existing ST canon and general mongoloidism.

Did I mention I like D-7s? Beautiful ship.

Speaking of Star Trek "Canon" In the original series, they used the same model for the D7 in an encounter with the Romulans, using the excuse that the Romulans were buying ships from the Klingons. It's all a galactic used ship lot, and no doubt the Klingons got a good deal on the used Bird of Prey.

The budget was really low back then, especially the third season. I think the only detailed enemy ship model we got to see besides the Constitution-class and D-7 was the Romulan warbird.

The really funny part about this I think is that when Star Trek Online comes out next year it might be entirely possible to have such a crew on a Federation ship, not so much the Klingon one though.
