Not all revolvers have one tho. Hard to find one for an 8 shooter.

I have a speed loader for a 7-shot revolver, the S&W 686-Plus. HKS makes it. Now, I have to acquire the revolver...

Ah. Now thats cool. My uncle had a some .454 revolver with an 8 round capacity he called Hefty Mama. I have never heard of one commercially so I can't imagine any speed reloaders for that. I'm sure you could 3D print one nowadays tho.

An eight-round .454? I ran into Dick Casull, who developed the cartridge, twenty years ago at a gun show. He was a partner at Freedom Arms at the time, and told me that the only thing he could think of to use the round for was dangerous came, like, well, brown or polar bear. He didn't care to shoot it very much; I think an 8-shot would have scared him away! Mr. Casull passed away last year at the age of 87.

Yeah. She was a big girl. He did call her Hefty Mama. I myself have fired a .454 automagnum and its great. I don't know why only recently the cartridge is coming back into the light. Its so awesome. Just put some potassium into some hollow points and you'd indeed have a polar bear stopper. XD
Thats cool you got to meet Mr Casull. I've longed to make my own firearms and ammo now. It's a shame he's gone. I wonder what he'd have thought of my idea for a .454cas carbine in the style of a CMMG Guard.
