it's actually because some news article on furries is going around the net (as usual) and came across my radar, but one of the fursuits in it was REALLY CLEARLY a tauntaun. it was kind of a "...well why didn't i think of that before, somewhere out there someone will be thrilled if i draw that!" moment.
Augh, I hate when those articles roll around, 'cause it always makes me really paranoid that people around me are gonna become aware of furries and then remember that I like to draw bird people, and then start relating me to the most disturbing things you see on sites like this.
