:) Yay! Finished the new tail yesterday! I found this awesome white faux with black "guard hairs" that's nice and soft (you can see a scrap of the original fur that I used to work on the colour on the upper left-hand side in #4 and #5 of the small images)... Tinted it the greyish-silver 
wanted (I hope I got it close), worked it in, did a second layer of tint to make things more gradiated, then painted in the spots. It lost a bit of the super soft feel it had, but it's still quite pettable- tinting synthetic fur with acrylics unfortunately forces you to make that trade-off between accurate colour and pure softness. But, now it has that "brindled" texture that real fur sometimes gets. :) Other than the odd turn to one side it has, I'm rather happy with it. Let me know what you think, hon?

I'm so glad you like it, hon! That curve bothered me a bit- it's not supposed to go to the side like that, but simply curl upward to keep from dragging on the ground. May I model it at our fur-meet tonight? There's place called the Prancing Skiltaire that my husband and I go to every month where furs get together, hang out, stuff their faces full of food (it's a pot-luck), watch movies, play games, yak and so on. some of us sit in the corners madly scribbling in our sketch-pads, too. *chuckles, because she's sometimes one of them*
The tail might hang a tad shorter on you, if you're over 5' 3" (my height).

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing it in the Paypal notice, but it's always a good thing to have a backup. I forget stuff, so having theaddress in another spot is always a good plan for me! Derp.

Yeah, the Skiltaire is a pretty special place. Folks loved your tail, too! Not too many petted it, so it doesn't need as much of a brushing as I thought it might, but it was definitely admired. Surprised a few folks, too- they always thought I wuz a dragon... *giggle*

Yuh, that fur was awesome to work with- I got over a yard and half of it, because I liked it so much. So I have left-over enough for more tails and maybe hand-paws for another leopard, if one is interested. *grins* It started out as this lovely white stuff with the black guard-hairs, but then I attacked it with paint. Heh...
Ummm not sure. o0 Whichever. I'll ask the person. For lack of funds right now if will be a bit of time before I can actually commission you for these but I was curious to see if you could at all. XD They aren't normal leo ears. They're bigger and kinda fluffy. XD Awesome Are the price of ears in your commission info or is it on a piece by piece basis?
Derp... I can't remember. O___o I'll look, but I think it's in the fursuit and partials section. I don't think I specifically mention ears, though:, but I'd probably ask about $25 for 'em, or maybe a bit less, depending on how easy they are. I have some nice long-pile fur with silver bits in it (I can remove those, but the pile is three inches long), plus the guard-hair tipped stuff.
Heh. Dang, well, I guess that secret's out. Yup, he's asked me about building a big, floofy set for you. As a plus, I have some pretty Stellar's Jay feathers that would probably look sweet on them- just have to see if I have enough for the project. You know what a Blue Jay looks like right? Stellar's are similar, but have a black head and crest instead of a grey, blue, black and white one. Sky blue, white and black? The wing feathers are that lovely shade of rich blue, barred with black. They look awesome...
He's actually been talking to me about them, so it's not a huge blown secret XD He mentioned you and pointed me to the post, too. I told him it would be pretty damn awesome later on when it can be a working project.

*grins, knowing the flack she'll get when her hubby learns how she's going to use those feathers* Kani loves feathers and might not want me to use them in art, but I definitely like the idea of using them on something so cool. I also had a vague plan of having the big floofy ears sit on top of your actual ears, so they're hidden underneath...
