Izzy is  rizr12's character in our Pathfinder game. Izzy is a half orc that ran with a raiding party of orcs, half-orcs, gnolls and more that valued martial strength and honor, looting pillaging and worse all across Katapesh. His father was the chief, and he was next in line for leadership until one fateful day their party descended upon a caravan filled with the devout of Sarenrae. 

The warband broke on the shields and scimitars of Sarenrae's paladins and clerics. Among the many that lay defeated in battle was Izzy, the chief's prodigal son. The chief called for an 'honorable' retreat, and in doing so the able bodied among them started to kill those that lay defeated, to weed out the weak.

When his father prepared to prune his own son's life, a paladin jumped to his aid and fended off the chief, who fled to save his own life. The paladin, sensing a flicker of good in Izzy's soul, spared him and set him free. The half-orc's faith in his warband's ideals were shaken - those paladins seemed much more honorable than his father. With nowhere else to go, Izzy eventually returned to their temple and dedicated himself to the Dawnflower, hoping that he might find redemption for his wicked deeds.

Izzy joined the Pathfinder Society and served dutifully for some time. He was part of an expedition to recover knowledge from an ancient library, but his entire party was cursed by an ancient tome with a baleful polymorph. Sarenrae's light protected izzy, but not his companions as they each transformed irreparably into an animal. The Decemvirate didn't believe the story, thinking that Izzy had actually gotten them all, including his venture captain, killed. He was discharged from the Pathfinder society and used his remaining funds to buy a farm to keep his companions safe until he could afford the scrolls to undo the damage.

Izzy is an idealistic warpriest that believes so deeply redemption and good that his halberd is enchanted not to cause mortal wounds. He has a deep distrust of Anizhar, though he tries to see the good in him. He reluctantly helps the Rakshasa gather more 'good boys' in hopes that they will truly be redeemed, and not simply be slaves under the sinister mastermind. He fears that one day he might have to raise his blade against his companion.

He is always babysitting Magnus. He is infatuated with and adores Azidasa. He gets on well with, and respects Wat.

Recently he has acquired a Squire in the form of a smol tiefling named Nalya.
