So far this is the result of a little over a week of work, spending about 2 hours a day on it.
This has pushed me to try so many things I would have never attempted before and I'm learning a LOT.
like glass setting and adding decorative banding in the wood.
Next I will be giving it some flair with my router and then it'll be back to my table saw to cut the lid portion off the top, add a second band, cut the holes for the hinges, test fit the two halves and if everything lines up right it'll be off to the stain and varnish. after that is all dried up it'll be time to fit the inner tray and get that glued in then the final assembly and last but definitely not least, add my brand mark to the bottom.
