Sealed Zanpakuto: His Zanpakutou looks like a basic Tanto but with a dark green handle.
Shikai
Name: Hotaru
Physical appearance: The Zanpakutou when released becomes a glowing lime green tantou with darker green lightning sparking around it. Two Glowing green diamond shaped plates float behind him and they resemble bug wings.
Description: His release command is "Flicker". Denkou's hair also glows a neon green in his shikai form. His eyes also become a brilliant lime green. "Hotaru" means lightning bug or firefly.
Abilities: His speed is greatly increased. When he slashes his zanpakutou, its forms strong electrical lightning trails behind the blade. He can also send electrical slashes from his blade as well.
Bankai
Name: Hiraishin Hotaru
Physical appearance: He spawns silver and lime green shogun samurai armor. He gains lime green rounded gauntlets around his forearm with black metal gloves, lime green rounded shin gaurds with black zori sandals and light lime green tabi socks, Lime green metal floating thigh and shoulder plates, a lime green breast plate, and a Lime green Kabuto helmet with glowing white jagged energy blades emitting from the top, with lightning surging in between the two.The two flickering green energy blades behind him serving as bug wings remain. There rests a large green jewel in the lower back of his armor that glows and flickers as he moves as a lightning bug. When he flys or dashes,the jewel sends a trail of lime green and white lightning flowing him. His actual Zanpakutou is a glowing lime green flickering wakizashi sword made from pure lightning. When he swings the sword, the slash is composed of multiple flickering afterimages of the glowing green blade.
Description: "Hiraishin" means lightning god and as mentioned before, "Hotaru" means lightning bug. When his hollow mask is activated, His mask fits perfectly under his kabuto helmet serving as the shogun armor's menpo mask. Menpou masks are designed to terrify and intimidate the wearer's enemies.
Abilities: His speed is increased slightly, to the point where he can make various flickering Afterimages of himself that, even though they are only images, can still attack the opponent. The lightning he could slash before has a greater strength and power. He can even fire bolts of electricity from his Kabuto helmet.

A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile.

Bakerukonkei (Corrupt the Root System)
A small surge of electricity enters through the body that does one of 3 things: Paralyses the opponent, disables the opponent from gathering reiatsu, or scrambes the opponent's nervous system signals to any part of the body.
Teiden (Blackout)
This technique can only be used when Bakerukonkei is still in effect. When activated, it intensives the electricity into a 1 nano-second shock that causes the opponent to fall into a comatose state of unconsiousness. They then enter a state of false rigor mortis for a max time of 2 hours, But they wake up in one. Even when the opponent awakens, his body still stays under submission to the psuedo-rigor mortis for another hour.

The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger.
11.Tsuzuri Raiden (Bound Lightning)
Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through.
63.Raikoho (Thunder Roar Cannon)
Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target.
Incantation: "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!"

Arashi (Storm)
Lime green lightning gathers around either his fists and/or feet. Whichever he engulfs, he uses that fist or foot to deliever a fusillade of electical punches and/or kicks very rapidly.
Hollow Abilities:
Cero - Fires a standard lime green and black cero. Only uses it as a trump card;Prefers to use Bala
Bala - Fires small, lime green electrical burst of energy.
Hierro - A basic hierro.
Hollow form
Appearance: He takes the form of a tengu-type hollow. His mohawk grows longer and spiker and becomes dark green in colour. His skin becomes white with green markings and under his arm are bat like skinned wings. His feet become like the talons of a hawk. The spike on his hollow mask becomes longers and serves as the "nose" of a tengu.
Abilities: He can fly at great speeds. He can send 3 bala's from each wing at once when he flaps his wings with great force. Also, with a mighty battle cry, he can call forth black and lime green lightning from the sky in multiple small volts.
