my friends and I are making characters to represent our western zodiac signs and how they relate to us personally. this is probably going to turn into a much bigger project and I am excited about it. :D
meet Switch. :) she has actually been flitting around in my head for quite some time now, but I feel like I've finally pinned down her design and the time is right to show her off. this will probably be scrapped later on. ref sheet and race/species sheet will follow at some point.
and if you don't already know what sign I am, I think it's pretty easy to figure out.

why a fishbird specifically?
considering that everyone has four animals/elements in the eastern zodiac as well as nine planets and an ascendant in the western, I decided not to get too crazy. ;) if you combined just the four animals from my eastern zodiac alone (fire tiger, wood horse, water snake, fire dragon) it would make for a pretty strange chimera. I have plans to come up with designs for each of my four pillars. :)

I'll have to email you some links! I wasn't really into it either (and I don't put much stock in the 'your life is ____ right now, you should do _____' vague crap that's in newspapers and such), but when I started reading about Gemini just out of curiosity, it explained a whole lot about myself that was almost eerie. if you have time to read over some stuff, I'd be interested to know what you thought about how true it is relating to yourself!
