Sophie Wolf [Ghost in the Shell universe]
I made a fancharacter based on the universe of Ghost in the Shell for a contest a couple of days ago. I been really into this universe lately and I thought it was a good idea to try my creativity mixed up with such a complex lore as GITS have.
Universe: Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex
Name: Sophie Wolf
Nationality: German
Age: 26
Prosthetics Status: Full Cyborg
Sophie is the third special cyborg operations unit developed by the German Ministry of Security in conjunction with Russia under a secret bilateral operation focused on equalizing technological and combat conditions with Japan and the American Empire. Of the three units developed at the time, only two were successful, having suffered a fatal failure in the synchronization of the cyber brain and the prosthetic body in the first unit, causing the subject death. The second subject was the first success of the program but since the financing had come from Russia, as part of the treaty, it was ceded to the country to be incorporated into the Special Forces along with a detailed report of the processes to develop new units in the Soviet country.
Sophie was the third successful unit of the program, having offered herself as a volunteer for the procedure, enthusiastic to serve her country. As part of the process, her entire body is replaced by a prosthetic one with multiple dedicated improvements, effective for infiltration operations. Instead of traditional thermal camouflage, she got a variant based on nano machines, allowing it not only to become invisible to itself, but also to a companion. Her prosthetic limbs, while functioning as a unit, are also modular, which means that they are easy to disassemble and replace with others if she needs a different type of equipment. She's also equipped with a series of movement improvements capable of completely canceling out any noise and an adherent system on the skin that makes it easier to hide using the upper corners of the rooms during infiltrations. All of these improvements comes at the expense of the increased strength and endurance that cyborgs tend to have. Sophie is in many ways more fragile than the average of its kind.
While Sophie's training process was long and really tough, much of it consists of a large number of false memories from veteran combatants which were modified and implanted on her, replacing a large part of the memories of his past without her knowledge or consent. However she is not aware of this, at least at the time being. This process, however, also generates dissonance between his memories and thoughts and can sometimes cause blackouts and, on rare occasions, cognitive failures during combat decision-making, which prevents her from taking the role of team leader.

Oh quite q but of my own thing. I do try and finde out how lineart hevy artist will do a given thing, like watter or somthing. But i take that information and, do it my own way! Thanks for stalk lol, tho, i wold have thoght youd like the NSFW version better. Anyways i was gunna post a tradional pice that i did, it looks kinda like your girl hear infact. .. we defnitly have the same taste in hair XD
I also kinda go around looking for tutorials and methods from other artists, specially in artstation where you can find a lot of really good guides and tutorials. In my case, for humans at least, I started trying to learn the style of Bruce Timm, though in this particular character I tried to replicate in some degree the style of Ghost in the Shell (the anime, not the movie).
I like them both XD but I usually favor sfw over nsfw works, at least in this profile XD
It's an interesting hair style that has more personality over the traditional ones in my opinion c:

Oh for sure XD your right about the personality. And totorials are good i pick them up when i can finde them but, i also look at reallife examples when k can finde them, and think: whats the simplest way i can do this with lines, lol like the one you faved. I feel like i got a good feeling for how to recreate things now, im going to focus on dofrent races so i can lern to draw difrent faces, same as you wold do for furrys lol. Thanks for reminding me, im ghnna post that tradional sketch! I hope to see more of your work hear i realy like the style, not to anime, its rather unique!
I should start practicing more races too tbh, in my VG project there're plenty of humans of different races and cultures besides the furry creatures. I will be needing to design them properly for the pre production if I'm expecting to be taken serious XD
of course that the first step it's always to study real life, it's the smartest way to learn, then it's complemented with the rest of the tutorials, examples and others c:
Well, thanks for that opinion c: I don't like anime style too much so I'm trying a lot to come up with an style of my own that it's more occidental, that dances between animation and comic.
hahaha, I also try to do that to people, thoug I usually do it throught stories and comics, and I use violence as a tool more often than nudity. Still don't get too many negative reactions though, I'll find the correct recipe with time I guess XD

Oh i know i hate anime too and i get acused of it like, with that tradional pice i did lol. Its stupid to call it that but. Anyways im glad to hear gour takjng the time to do all that work for your story! I am... needing to start work on a piolt for my own comic as well, and its nice to see solme one els with caution. As for violence i want violence and nudity to both be viewd in ways thay arnt normaly, ya know, it is extreemly hadd to do. Ppl are jsut so use to it.
