This is how I felt afer riding the SAW ride at Thorpe Park last week.

It was exhilirating and fantastic, but I came off it feeling like I'd been hit by a bus. And looking like it.
Trying to get Jiggy's coat to look more rexy. Rex rats are hard to portray in cell shading, I have the same problem with Whitey. I imagine Jigsaw's coat to be very much like my past rat, Gabriel:

If anyone has an idea on how to portray the bald patches and curls in cell shading, let me know!
Background photo taken by me in line to the SAW ride. I knew it'd come in handy!

I always use pictures of tobin as reference when I draw Jigsaw, even though I've drawn him dozens of times, just to keep him looking right. I think sometimes when you get over familiar with a character, you somtimes lose sight of the little details that make them who they are, so I always try to keep a few pics handy to refer back to to make sure Im still drawing him right.
I do it with most of the rat characters I have that are based on real people. I think its because it'd be so easy to just have a template face and body for rats, and just change the colours to show who is who, but I really like to add individual facial features and such. Keeps me interested :P I'd be bored so quick if I just had 15 rat characters who were all the same except colour and name!

I gotta say, I love every single thing you draw. Not enough people draw rats to begin with, and the amount of detail you put into every facet never ceases to amaze. Not a lot of people could pull off merging a drawing into a photo, either, which you just did with flying colours.
Kudos, man. Kudos.
(Plus, gotta have some love for John. And, as a result, anyone who can draw him well, human or animal.)
