This is my new WOF (Wings of Fire) OC Phoenix.

Phoenix is a Skywing, one of the dragon races within Tui. T. Sutherlands series "Wings of Fire"

Phoenix was one of Queen Ruby's guards, just trying to work her way through the ranks like any other palace skywing. 'Stay low enough to not get charged with things you didn't do, but just in sight to make yourself known and earn rank.' This was her fathers famous teaching. She didn't mind her father was a good dragon and being noticed is what got her mother killed when Queen Scarlet was ruler. So old habits kinda brake hard within her family.

All of this changed though when she met the most amazing Nightwing, and only Nightwing, she has ever met. She wanted to be noticed by this book-nosed Nightwing so she threw caution to her teachings and tried to stand out.
It pretty much all failed for her, and that night the Nightwing was to go back to his home with the others who had come to visit with her Queen. She was ready to give up and never see him or want to be noticed again, when he ran into her.
She was practicing her battle techniques in the arena to get her mind off everything when he came colliding into her. She had whipped around so far and had him pinned before eather of them knew who the other was. But once she saw who it was she lept off him so quickly she fell into the training dumby she was practing on. But since that night the two had been inseparable since.
When Phoenix found out she was with egg she ran off to be with her Nightwing, knowing that her father didn't like it and Queen Ruby probably wouldn't as well. They might say they have changed and are more excepting, but all of this was still close to the final defeat of The Darkstalker and old habits die hard. As she knows first hand. But seeing as the Rainwings had taken in the Nightwings so long as they bowed to Queen Glory of the Rainwings. Phoenix was more then happy to take that oath and stay with her love and child then risk the Skywings and their rituals to unwanted skywing dragonets take all that from her.

Queen Glory was more then willing to take her in, after everything with The Darkstalker her view towards the Skywings have changed. (as a Skywing was suppose to take her place in the original Dragonet prophecy before it was found to be fake)
Phoenix has been in the rainforest ever since and would do anything for her family, but because of her betrail to Queen Ruby she dosn't like to wounder from the Rainforest to much. So her mate has been showing their dragonet around the outside world, though she had written and got arrangements for their dragonet to see her father and stay with him on ocation to learn of her skywing heritage.
Aperantly a lot has changed since she left but she still dosn't feel comfortable leaving the rainforest.
