Poor horse. :(
This is an impressive drawing. The exhausted expression and disheveled, dirty condition of the horse is powerful. Also the chaos of the battlefield frames the subject very well. While the fuzziness of the backdrop keeps the focus on the clarity of the horse and its condition, it can so imply the hazy exhaustion and confusion of many days of constant warfare and the toll it has taken on the horse.
