(NEW) Female Faer Base (2 slots available)
I just recently released the old female faer base for use by patrons of my PATREON and have created a new and more up to date, neater base for my own personal custom work commissions!
You should consider becoming my patron, rewards start as low as $5 with my Footprint Caster tier, allowing you to create your very own Faer! But that's certainly not the end of it, they get better the more you pledge. At Night Howler you can create and sell adoptables off the older Faer bases I'm releasing!
For more, pop over and view all the links heading the description, if you have any questions absolutely feel free to ask! I appreciate your consideration!
The Faer are a custom species created by yours truly, they can act as a pretty vanity character that you can get art of, or as actual RP characters-- whatever the case may be. They are not a particularly rare species, but I will try to limit the number created at any given time to increase the chances of the one's created, being fleshed out.
Before you can get your own custom Faer, you've got to pop over to The Faer Page and read up on them to figure out important visual details. These characters are definitely a bit of an investment, but they can be really wonderful walking aesthetics (we all love that, right?) if you do take the time to really figure out the details you want to showcase on them.
In order to claim one, keep an eye on the title to see the changes to what I'm looking for in terms of gender. I'm trying to keep it relatively balanced, and right now we've got a lot more females than males. These are first come first served, I may have limited MYO slots available for artists. If you are an artist and want one, hmu in notes.
-= Price =-
Base (Clean Nude) - $100
Base + 1 Basic Outfit - +$20
Base + 1 Complex Outfit - +$35
The difference between complex and basic outfits is the difference between most fantasy armor and clothing design (think Final Fantasy "I take off my belt, I take off my belt, I take off my other belt") for complex and most outfits actual people would wear for basic.
In order to claim, send me a note.
Subject Header - Custom Faer
Palette - The easiest way to do this that I've found is heading over to Color Palette Ideas and find something that suits you.
Spark Color - I like to use stones and stone meanings to decide my spark colors (this is not a literal translation, their spark will not look like the stone in anything but the basic color.)
Mane Style - Magic or no magic.
Horn/Antler Style - Reference the site for the setups you can have.
Tail Style - (No Whiptails as of 8/6) See site for types of tails.
Feathering or No Feathering - Feathering around the feet, if so how much, or none at all.
Eye Color - Tetradic Colors - see below to understand what tetradic color theory is.
Elements - Two total, see site to understand how to choose!
Tetradic is similar to the standard complimentary color theory.
Basically, I use all the shades you select to create the fractal, shifting colors with pinpricks of brighter colors. It's all just to create that strange kaleidoscopic quality that the iris has.
