Who's a cute little menace to societyyyy? You are!
So begins Yu-Gi-Oh month on my adorably dark little sector of the web, a bit late due to a distracting cold, but off to a good start with Kuriboh and a few others about ready to go too. But one at a time, now. cX
Starting off with a fluffy little cuteball who's been the bane of my existence in many a fierce duel, be it stalling for chonk-boi Exodia or otherwise wasting my time and/or short-term buffs. Suck my Mystical Capture Chain in the shadow realm, Jimbo. I see your stall tactics, and raise you one banned spell-sweeper. >X3

Opening a virtual mini booster and finding a cute-footed creature in the card art is a lovely little surprise. It's helped kindle a big interest in Yu-Gi-Oh for me, especially since the free to play aspect is so generous and full of content (I'm spending my dough on physical cards instead).
I feel fortunate being a gaybo whose SO is a tabletop geek too. There's a scene at my local games shop but I suspect the people there are a bit too hardcore, following the meta and all that jazz. Heck, the closest thing I have to a "that guy" story is overhearing someone there a couple of years back joking about considering buying 3 copies of the latest structure deck and thrashing noobs.
