Question. And this is not a joke. It's a legit question. What does him being a trusted artist have anything to do with him drawing a satire picture for fun?
Whether you agree with what Miles-DF is doing or not, everyone has a right to an opinion. It may be none of their business what other artists charge, but anyone can express said opinion in their own gallery in whatever way they choose as long as they are not slandering someone.

Making a mockery of somene is distasteful and immature. It reflects badly on this artist.

Having an opinion is fine, this however is not an opinion, this is pure mockery. It is in bad taste.
What does being a TA have anything to do with it? Nothing, but we TA staff are not impressed with such behaviour from someone wearing our badge.

Going to point out a few things for you that you need to work on.
1: Your opinion is your own and only your own. Forcing it onto others will get you no where. If it's distasteful to you isnt to others. I saw a joke, I got it. I laughed. I moved on. No ill will towards either artist. I thought it was funny and nothing more needs to be said. To blow up over it is distasteful.
2: "it is non of your business what they charge." - It's everyones business as they put it out publicly just like this picture. they are not forcing anyone but people will still poke fun at it because its a stupid price so of course people are going to speak up. I seriously was going to make the whole diablo mobile meme on it as well, but I just kept it to myself. Fact I will make though is it's non of Your business what the artist does for entertaining their watcher. You dont control what they can or cant do, so why even act like your opinion matters so much that you can control what artists draw? "TA" is about "trusting" an artist. Not about what they draw.

You think because what the artist did it'd make "trusted artists look bad"? Give me a break. You let any idiot into the group and I've ran into a few of them who already either scammed me or someone I wouldnt have let ten feet near the icon to save their life. Not to mention you let people who were removed from the badge back in. So if you think this will hurt their name, you need to push that to the back of the line. If an artist had a good rep at the time they are recommended of course we let them in. If this artist becomes q scammer after approval they will be removed providing evidence is given.
So the next time you see something like that, take action and notify the group instead of whining and pointing fingers.

Opinion is an opinion how you look at it. I think its funny and true, you think its mockery. We could go rounds for days and get no where. Simple fact is you let it bug you and making a scene over it based on emotions stating it's "questionable behavior". Will say as well even if the artist was being a full on ass, what does it matter?

And if it means "nothing" to TA...why keep mentioning it like it does and it affects their status as well as making it a thing on the trustedartists journal? Also laughing at the "this is advice and stating how TA feels about it. The choice is still theirs" yet you make it public to try to encourage others to make the choice for them and stating "we dont like it and the "staff" doesnt like it but they have the choice to keep doing it" is a passive aggressive attack. You are saying the choice is theirs but at the same time you are trying to make it not their choice by making this public and keep saying shit like "TA staff and TA doesnt like this and not impressed".
Also like how you didnt want to say anything on the fact you are trying to control someone elses work they do using the TA as leverage. But I guess you didnt have anything on that as I was "whining and pointing fingers" correct?

I am in no way telling this person what to do with their work, and how we feel about artists on TA is none of your concern. As I can see your maturity level on this matter, I no longer wish to converse with you.

To anyone reading this particular conversation, yes sometimes TA does allow a removed artist back on the list depending on the offence. Yes they must get double the amount of recommendations to get back in. However - some offences will have the artist removed permently from our list.

As myself as Administrator (mods also feel the same way and our journal was a joint decision) we simply expressed our views on it. After all, we are representing their art trade/business ... and we wanted the public to know we don't support the mocking of fellow artists.

However expressing your personal view as a matter of fact is something you may want to reconsider. Especially since in the role of TA's administrator you carry a huge responsibility.
I personally believe that an artist of the reputation such as Miles-DF ist more than strong enough to endure a little mockery and a good willed laugh on his expense. It won't make his art less successful or hurt his reputation.

TA was never used to underline any arguement. It was mentioned purely because of the respect I have for this artist and how shocked I was.

Late shows are an American thing, so not in my country. However I know what they are. Not really relevant to this tbh. Late shows are paid to do what they do, they also don't do it behind peoples backs. Infact most actually have them as guests on the show as they give consent to be roasted.

My lasy comment on this matter, because quite frankly this is exhausting. It is not mlock solely, but rather the hive mind he has joined. Together, it equals those things.

I am a full time worker with two kids, part-time artist and TA Admin. In fact I am currently at my sons soccer training right now as I type. Its already 7:13pm and I have not been home yet since 6am.

You may want to re-read what I have written. I don't know where you find that I said anything about TA "turning away" from anything. But I grant you that you may have read my comment a little too fast due to your main attention being drawn to your kid's soccer play.
And - surprising or not - you are not the only one with a full work and family life. And yet? These discussions here matter, as they shape the place where we spend our valuable spare time at.
