A thank-you gift for Jolee because she surprised me with a lovely Valentine yesterday! You see, I was always one of those fugly lamers who didn't care about Valentine's Day because we knew we wouldn't get a card. And then I received my first one yesterday :) Life can surprise you when you no longer expect it!

I'm sorry for those 8 months of silence, living and studying in a big city left me in ruins! My mental state plummeted last summer, thankfully I've finally started showing signs of recovery this winter. I probably won't start using FA actively right now (I still have to finish my master thesis and defend it, BLEH), but I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. "Slowly" being the key word here!

I'm dead, you did it. You killed me. Here lies Sarah Jean, died from cuteness overload. I still can't believe you drew a response to that scribble from the other day - I was over the moon just knowing you liked it. Then you go and do THIS. You're devilishly sweet, I can never repay you for everything you've done for me <3 You absolutely did these characters justice; Gwin's egg-shaped head is so charming and Skunker's fluffy tail makes me incredibly happy!! Thank you so, so much again. I can't think of a better way to start my day than logging in to FA and seeing your art :D You are such a bright spot in my life, I appreciate you more than I can put into words! Thank you for your friendship and for this amazing picture!

Oh nooo, I hope a box full of Polish chocolate is enough to bring you back to life!! To be perfectly honest, if chocolate can't revive you, then I don't know what else can :D Seriously though, I'm so glad you like the doodle <3 Drawing it was SUPER fun, I could barely put my tablet pen away (but I had to because I had to take our dogs for a walk)! Your Valentine was the sweetest thing under the Sun, the only logical thing to do was to draw my own one, haha. I'm honestly blown way how much you like it, I can only assure you that I adore your drawing JUST as much <3
