Look what else you bought me! I got a very large brush for painting trees also when I went to Michaels to pick up a sketchbook.
That is a micron pen. I'm so going to poke out an eye with this thing.

Yes. I couldn't charge for it, because I love it too much. I'm like "ooo, lineeearrrtss?" I do ask a few things. PLease, only clean lineart - I don't care if its inked by hand or inked digitally, clean lineart makes me happy. Please, no lineart that is under 500 X 500 pixels. It is too small, and you won't like the results. Unless you want me to flat color it with no shading, which I can do.
Ask well in advance if its a pencil piece that I need to ink or clean up. I may or may not do these, it depends on my work load. but if its clean lineart (Black or dark lines on a PURE white or as white as you can get it backdrop) I will always color free. Cause I love doing it, when its not a pain in my side, like inking or cleaning up poor scans XD
If in doubt, show me, jsut don't get mad if I say no. I'm not likely to say no though, unless its really goddawful.

It's a prize from Coyotek. I colored it myself as he has given me permission to do with it as I want, as long as he get's credit for the lineart. Yes, I know it isn't inked. I don't know how to do it myself. x.x
If you do want to color it though, I can tell you her color scheme. I'd be grateful if you would, cause my colored version doesn't do this justice. :\

Of a paintbrush? Our art store had some, they were craft brushes, on a lower shelf.
However, these at dickblick would be about the same size I think although i've not seen them in person:

Black Gold are my favorite synthetics by far - firm enough for acrylic but holds water well enough for watercolor. I wouldn't buy a black gold for a wash brush or anything I needed really dilute color, but for laying on good. bright color, its ace. I use these for most of my detail work, having a 6 and 8 round in their regular collection.

Their fine rounds also don't fuck around (They have the sizes there in inches for you, unlike the decor ones that don't) and are super tiny.
I'm using eye of the tiger (Also by destiny) which Dickblick only sells in 95 brush assortments- they are super cheap, lmao. I'm saving up to get nicer ones, prob the black gold ones since I love my rounds so much.

Lolz, thanks for the info although I am not a painter, that is one of the types of art I fail at big time. With my shakes I end up with blobs everywhere and can't get detail. I was hoping to find out where the ridiculously thin Microns were. Although y'know what, maybe I could paint a bit better if I did have one of those thinner brushes *ponders now*
I may have to try it again sometime.
Anyway, thanks hun

Its what you paint with and how you use it more than anything... if you use acrylic right out of the tube you'll never get a smooth line to save your life. Need to use thinning medium to make it ink consistancy so it flows smoothly, then its a matter of pressure and how you load the brush (hint: dip in paint, pull up some onto the side of your palette, then wipe your brush on a paper towel, then reshape it by loading it with paint from the paint on the side of your palette in a smooth rolling motion. That keeps it sharp, and won't let paint get gobbered up in the ferrule. (Metal part that holds on bristles)
As for the .001 micron, Dick has those too. XD
