ON THE HEART BLEETS

There is a realm where no human has gone, a realm far from eyes and beyond imagination. A place ruled by two princesses. They live peacefully side by side protecting their people and keeping things prosperous for all. It stopped when the princess of the Pure started to get sick, it affected her, weakening her body causing her to break slightly along her features. Some called it the work of the Fractured, others say something else happened that caused her to break. She tried to keep the peace, telling all that it was nothing and she would be fine, sadly this was not the case. The Pure Princess broke farther, the disease of the Fractured starting to slowly sink into her side of the world warping those around the infested area, she could not stop it any longer. Fearful for her people she opened a portal to another realm, sending those who wanted to be saved or even to start a new life to go and be free. She knew she had no other option for she knew it was the end of her as their princess and there was nothing she could do to stop the outbreak of the fractured to venture wherever it had wanted to go.
Some went and left the world they knew, not knowing if they would ever see what they had lost. Some stayed not knowing what would become of them but not wanting to leave their homes or their princess behind.
The ones who left everything were scared, skittish and worried for their new space was not like the world of light they left, this place was full of strange creatures who did not look like them. They had made it to earth. Being a very taken care of species some had struggled with their new ability of free will, not knowing the road to take or choice to pick, yet some enjoyed the leisure activity in it all adapting like nothing had happened.
Adapting meant them learning to get along with the locals and learn their customs, sometimes meaning falling in love with the other species and breeding with them as well. New Heart Bleets even started to pop up giving them all new traits and personalities.

Fractured Disease:
Long ago before the Heart Bleets became a larger species of their world was a plant in the out most skirts, far away and hidden under a waterfall completely concealed. Until a rogue curious little Bleet went in and plucked that flower finding it to be the very most beautiful thing they had ever seen. They gave it to their princess claiming her beauty to match the flower. Yet plucking that brought something they were not expecting, a diseased shadow crept up towards its flower engulfing anything in its path, grasping the species, making them change with the plague.
The Fractured was born.
Unlike most plagues though this was not hurting any of the species, it was simply giving them a new affinity for the darker side of things. Their gardens turned to more gruesome foods, their bodies turning just a little weaker yet stronger with elemental magic, their ‘pets’ now needing meat instead of vegetables like them. Though surprisingly enough this did not make the new bleets aggressive towards their counterparts in the light.
It did however make the Pure side wary of what could be out there making their princess cast a protection spell over their side hoping the disease would not spread anymore.
Though some of the Pure who escaped into the other realm held the disease within their bodies not even noticing, this was caused by the larger outcast of the shadows moving for the rest of the world taking grasp within hearts of the creatures. But it will not show unless they fall prey to something completely horrible, heart breaking even. Until then it lays dormant within themselves.

//They can cause plants to grow much larger than normal, or themselves to grow at a slower rate.

//Using them for potions, or food, or spells in general. Can talk to them and help them whatever they need.

Fractured:
★Elementals
//Mostly Fire or Darkness. But some enjoy the Wind element.
★Offensive magic
//Attack magic. Creating daggers or weapons of any type.
★Animal Manipulation
//Being able to use them at their will.
★Manipulation of other beings
//Giving off simple suggestions making others do how they wanted.

Reproduction:
They breed like mammals. Yet there are rumors that they can use magic to breed with both genders. Male or Female. As long as it’s a female who is giving birth.

Crystals:
★They aren't like any normal crystal they have magic in them.
★When cut or broken they ‘bleed’ this magical glittery ooze that holds little hearts inside of them. It can be used for healing magic or even darker magic. Yet it mostly just smells sweet. Enticing people to want it.
★Very valuable on the black market.
