Well now here we go with another of me and her. I love how the background and story came out.

Valentine’s Day
The rest of the month passed by and then Morgan spoke to both Nicholas and Malika a week and a half before Valentine’s Day. The coyote had them both together. “Why call both of us?” the fosky asked. “And why is Rachel with you?”
“I’d normally would watch her on Valentine’s day, but something’s come up,” Morgan answered. “I know how you two are together, but I need both of you to watch her all day. Can you do so?”
“B-but… Can’t you ask someone else?” the Anubian Jackal asked, already dreading the idea of being with Nicholas. She liked Rachel but not the fosky.
“I can’t get anyone else. Her parents are busy and everyone else I know is to.”
Nicholas cursed under his breath since there was a child here. “This better not be something you have planning for me and Malika,” he growled.
“What?” the coyote asked. The Anubian Jackal glared at the long-haired male.
“You know… maybe trying to get us closer…”
“Of course not!” Morgan answered. From her reaction, the other two could see she was telling the truth.
“I still don’t know…”
“Please?” Rachel now asked, giving him and Malika a cute look. “I want to spend time with you two!”
Both Malika and the male started as they hadn’t expected this from the little coyote. But one look made the Anubian Jackal smile. She looked back to Nicholas and could tell he was struggling to resist. Morgan then put on the cute look as well and he blushed hard. The guy rubbed the back of his head. “Damn it, I can’t say no to them… especially Morgan,” he thought. “She’s just too cute and hot like that…” By this point Nicholas had begun to fall for the coyote. She wasn’t dating anyone like him and besides, she was beautiful and would be a perfect match for him. More so than Malika, even after what he had seen her in and act around Rachel so far.
“Fine,” Nicholas grumbled. Morgan and Rachel were pleased and the little coyote took her aunt’s paw and began to walk away from her. Malika actually let out an amusing laugh. Not a mean one, but a real one.
“Really now!” she giggled. “You can’t say no to them? Then again, it was a cute face Rachel did!” Nicholas just stared at her, blushing a little as the sound for some reason sounded beautiful. Malika then noticed what he was doing.
“Something wrong?” the Anubian Jackal asked, wiping an eye as the laughing had caused water to rise up there.
“Nothing…” the fosky replied before he could stop himself. “It’s just surprising to see you laugh like that and how nice and cute it is.”
Malika immediately went red. “Wh-wh-where did that come from?!” she replied angrily and pissed. “Even I’ve been known to laugh at times! In any case, what’s great about spending the day with you?!”
“Nothing at all!” the male snarled, now back to his old self. Malika stormed off but Nicholas was left confused again at why he had said that and thought that way. Despite how he hated the female, the image of her laughing and what the guy felt came back and was still there.
As the day got closer, the two were dreading it more and more, even if Rachel was with them. But Nicholas and Malika figured they had better figure out a plan and met up with the little coyote. “We can do whatever you want,” the long-haired male told the child.
“Really?!” she exclaimed and seeing her happy made the fosky and Malika smile.
They soon figured out what to do, expect the place to eat. Just then Remy came in and overheard them. “What’s this?” the male rat asked. “Looking for a place to eat, eh?”
“Remy!” Nicholas stated. “What are you doing here?”
“I have to talk with a few here. But never mind me friends. You need help. And old Remy will help recommend you a place.” He then got a teasing grin with his eyes closed. “This is for a date on Valentine’s Day, right?”
Both Nicholas and Malika went red, her more than him. “D-Date?!” she spluttered. “Y-You moron! No way in hell I’d dated that fosky!” He glared at her as Malika continued. “Don’t get the wrong idea Remy! I’m not going on a date with Nicholas! We just need a place to eat while we watch Rachel!”
“Let’s see…” the male rat said and began to flip through a guide book on the city, not paying Malika any attention.
“Hey! Are you listening to me?!”
“There, this one should work,” Remy said and showed Nicholas.
“I see,” the long-haired male replied. “It should indeed. The food’s not bad, atmosphere’s good; it should be perfect.” Malika was still red in the face but she saw this to be true and agreed it would be a good place.
The day came and Nicholas was waiting for the two to show up. Rachel would show up with Malika and then the three would head out. The fosky was first as even though it wasn’t a date, and also due to the fact he didn’t like the Anubian Jackal, he still was a guy who held the policy of being early in high regards. Then he heard the little coyote’s voice. “We’re here!”
He turned to look and his eyes widened in shock. It wasn’t Rachel who caught his attention in her cute red outfit. It was Malika with her long white hair tied back and even with a pink heart accessory. There was something that made her seem suddenly normal, almost beautiful even. Both of their clothes were still normal for this day though. “What is it?” she asked, a frown on her face.
“Nothing,” Nicholas replied. “Just how you seem normal for once.” The Anubian Jackal lashed out with her fist but the male was too quick and caught it.
“Shut the fuck up!” she snarled to him in a whisper, blushing red. “I don’t need any comments from you at all!”
“Well excuuuseee me princess!” he growled back, both glaring daggers now with lighting going back and further between their eyes.
“Hey, can we go?” Rachel asked, snapping both back to the present.
The group of three began to make their way through the city. They saw it decorated for this holiday and the other couples out and about. Luckily the little coyote kept the Anubian Jackal and fosky distracted enough from this. Despite how the two disliked the other, they had to admit Rachel made this day a lot better. Seeing her happy made them happy. At around noon, they stopped at the place recommended by Remy to eat. They were seated and the hostess smiled. “You really two look cute with her right now,” she said. “It’s almost like you’re a family.”
Malika went red again and began to protest but the hostess walked off. “Damn it all,” Nicholas growled. “I didn’t think it would be this bad with people thinking we’re actually a couple!” They had already gotten comments like that already throughout the day.
“Like I’d ever want to date you in the first place!” the older female snarled at him.
“Um guys…?” Rachel asked and the two saw the waiter had come up.
The food had soon come and the tension had diffused somewhat with eating and conversation with the third wheel here. Now the little coyote was enjoying her desert. “Here, have some!” she offered to Malika. The Anubian Jackal took up the offer with a smile, brushing her braid of hair back to avoid getting any in the treat. Nicholas once again was struck by how this made the female appear beautiful.
“Good isn’t it?” the little coyote asked.
“It is,” Malika replied with a smile.
“It feels like my tongue will melt!” She was then struck by an idea. “You try some to Nicholas!”
The little female was using the same utensil. Malika realized this and went red again. “Don’t!” she stated.
“Huh? Why?”
“Y-you see that spoon… that’s the one I just…” The Anubian Jackal was just like a tsundere in anime at this moment.
“Here you go!” Rachel went on to Nicholas. He took the bite and Malika was left with her red face as he swallowed.
“Yes, this is good!” he replied. Her arms were crossed on the table. “Thank you Rachel!” She just smiled and then the fosky noticed Malika. “What’s up with you?”
“Nothing!” she stated, embarrassed.
“Say can I now ask something?” the little coyote asked. Their conversation before had been stopped because of this. It was mainly with Rachel as Nicholas and Malika wouldn’t do something like that.
“What is it?” the fosky asked before he and Malika took a drink from the drinks they had ordered and still had some left.
“Where are you two with each other in the relationship?”
Both older canines chocked and went red, spitting their drinks back in the glasses. Nicholas was still coughing, but Malika was fast to recover. “Wh-what kind of question is that?!” she stated, almost yelling while standing up.
“Pipe down!” the fosky snarled, seeing this. “You want everyone here to hear you?!”
She saw that the nose had disrupted a number of customers and workers here. Malika slumped back in her chair, hiding her face. The others here went back to what they were doing. The meal was paid for and the three left. Despite having Rachel, the two with her couldn’t help but think on what she said and what had happened today and up to this point ever since agreeing to it. It left Malika and Nicholas very confused. They still knew they hated the other. So then why did they go red like that when others asked or said things like that about them being a couple? Why did they even remember and reflect on it? Luckily Rachel pushed those question to the backs of their minds as the little coyote kept them distracted. At the end of the day, she was very happy that this had been such a fun one. Morgan was as well that the two had watched her little niece. Nicholas and Malika were happy that the coyote had fun but were glad this was over. At least their lives could back to normal. Or at least as normal as it got even though the two didn’t realize how much these event from this month would leave an impact on them and shape their future.

And that's it for now. As for while I'm smiling is because I didn't put Rachel in this pic but I have just finished the bite of her desert.
