Much like what PsyDoktor did in October, YarkWark also had a "sanitized" version of her character Kaz (it’s a term used in Splatoon 2′s OctoExpansion, hard to explain what it is but kinda like zombification in a way?).

Well, that got an idea brewing in my head. I’m a sucker for redemption, rescue or ‘reclaiming’ -type stories; stories that involve someone falling into the darkness only to try and redeem themselves or having a group of friends going in to rescue them. So I immediately started to think on that idea involving getting Kaz back.
Something that I also like in those kinds of stories is where the person has some kind of visual change to them to show that, while they’re back, they have been changed by the experience. Thanks to Yark, I thought of the idea of a different color scheme.

Kaz loves Polartix and has always wanted to meet them and visit their homeworld. Well, now he got his chance; I thought that to bring him back, the Polartix from his childhood would help bring him back, and thatw ould help change him so that he would finally get to meet them and visit their home. He even gets to share some ice cream with them (he even gets the a golden spoon).
