I see what I can do. I have to search my Photos. I know my camera will have trouble getting a wild Red-Tailed hawk as they are hard to take pictures of (They are very camera shy when you go anywhere near em and my camera has only 10x zoom) I think I may already have some from shows. They are very colorful when they open their wings. Eagles are a lot more camera friendly I can get closer to em see: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2160987/
I'll look in my Camera Photos to see if I have such a Hawk Image.

And I uploaded a few hawks photos.

I have found a few photos with open wings (but non soaring) some may be blurry. I'll post em on my FA.
Had you ever checked out http://www.palemale.com (Lincoln Karim has taken very awesome hawk photos there from almost every angle of the Central Park hawks and the other ones around NYC) and http://www2.fi.edu/hawknest.php The Franklin Institute Hawk Nest Website, I actually watch the hawks raise their young in the nest while the camera was live back in the spring. I hope they return next spring for more action.
Anyway the Icon for me would be a feral Red-Tailed Hawk (Non-Anthro like you drew here.) Maybe with the wings opened up some to show some color of the Red-Tailed Hawk. Also make sure the red tail shows.
