A photo of the pier and coastline at Sombrero Beach which I took back in 2017, before the pier met the wrath of Hurricane Irma later that same year.
I think I'm more pleased with this photograph than any other I've taken, the lighting and time of day were perfect and translated well when transferred to monochrome. It almost looks like it could have been taken decades ago, if not for my bike giving it away.
(Update as of the 13th of May, 2021: The pier still stands, I know not whether it was rebuilt, or if it withstood the entirety of Irma's gales. Either way, quite impressive.)
