Here's a reference of a new bat boy I had designed by
flashspot
His name is "Gino" and he's a member of Jeza's tribe of jungle bats, the Zuzu.
Despite their preference to avoid conflict altogether, when push comes to shove, the Zuzu are not ones to back down from a fight. But due to their small stature, in comparison to the other races, the Zuzu rely on their numbers to overcome their foes. But direct conflict often leads to causalities, and causalities leads to there be less to join the next fight - so to ensure their Warriors' survival, the Zuzu employ a group of fighters, known as "Guardians", to protect their tribesmen in combat.
Armed with nothing but a massive shield, the Guardians have one goal during a fight - "To keep the enemies' attention on them." Accompanied by two or more Warriors, a Guardian is tasked with capturing and holding their opponent's aggression during a fight. Using various forms of provocation, from shouting insults to bashing them with their shield, a Guardian takes it upon themselves to act as a decoy, while their fellow Warriors perform "Hit-and-Run" attacks, till either their enemy is dead, or weak enough that they can simultaneously swarm them.
But sometimes they happen upon more intelligent adversaries, who see thru the Guardian's ploy and attack the Warriors instead. When this occurs, Guardians hold their brethren's well-being above their own, and valiantly do whatever they need to in order to protect them - even if it means throwing themselves in harm's way.
Guardians serve as the first line against any enemy that threatens the Zuzu, so needless to say - when the Lunar Festival rolls around each month, all the ladies want some "quality time" with a Guardian. Because let's face it - any Zuzu can be a Warrior, but it takes one with BIG balls to be a Guardian. X3
