Moth? ... I thougth it is a butterfly.
(The german name of it is "Pfauenauge".)

It's design resembles that of a moth (at least around here, anyway.)

Oh, I see now Moth and Butterfly are the same in german ("Schmetterling").
But Moth means another insect too, that only fly in the night ("Motte or Nachtfalter").
That's why I was confused now.
(Stange. Why exists two words for the same animal?)

Well, technically butterflies and moths both belong in the order Lepidoptera. However, there are differences between them that make them unique to one another. The most common is what you pointed out - that moths are night dwellers while butterflies are daytime creatures. Antennas are different from each other as well, and 99% of moths are drawn to light sources, which is why you see them fluttering around street lamps all the time.

Well, since its antennae's shape, it should be a butterfly. Moths' are feather-shaped.

Seit ich 15 bin oder so? Verdammt lange her.

Aber wirklich ein ungewöhnlicher Vertreter seiner Art. So treu immer wieder zurückzufliegen. Mit Sicherheit jemand den du kennst und dessen Geist kurzzeitig in den der Tagpfauenauges geschlüpft ist um dir zu gratulieren und nun zufrieden lächelnd zuhause herum hockt.
