OOF! I saw a part of that show and I almost got a cavity! X-X

I saw the first two eps today, it's not terrible but I don't think I've seen enough episodes to make an opinion on whether it's good either.
Unfortunately for Nick, even if it winds up being good/above average everyone will always see it as a rip-off of Unikitty for obvious reasons (main one being character designs).
It'll never be able to break away from that criticism if it becomes well-known and that's all it'll be known for most likely. You have to admit the similarities are uncanny.

Actually when I saw it the similarities I forgot about with Unikitty to me these shows are very different but you’re right on the similarities.

To me I don’t even think of RBUK as a rip-off and the show already stands out with just that similarity to me a small thing.

Me too, I watched a couple eps of Unikitty just to see and both the shows have a different vibe with only a couple moments having similar humor to each other.
However what people initially see is that they're both pink cats that have a horn alongside a blue-colored dog sidekick with the addition of two other friends living in a weird quirky world. It could definitely discourage some to give RBUK a watch since from an outside view, that does sound like a straight up copy. ):

Definitely agree. I went in with low-ish expectations and I was surprised how decent it was, kept watching episode after episode.
Same thing happened when I first started watching MLP.

Always love when people have low expectations for something but on the rare chance it becomes the next big thing or an amazing experience for life.

That’s just myself as I had low expectations for a few things in my life and do hope their be more shows like mlp or just shows that are seen as low but then get so huge it’s insane.

We need more real animation shows instead of live action especially for a network that builds it reputation on animation not live action.

Here’s hoping to not just RBUK but other shows as well.

The funny thing is that Unikitty ends up playing out more like a parody of RBUK.

Unikitty, just as a reminder, first appeared in a movie along with Batman, Han Solo and Shaquille O'Neal. RBUK, in contrast, is self-contained (parodies not withstanding).
