He asked me once, how his character PYRON would look like in "RULUS fashion"... okay, here you go! ^..^
Darn, I really dig the different colour filters from PHOTOSHOP... and I just love clouds and vivid skies! Finally, this is NOT a photo background.
And as you can see, this is supposed to be a desktop background! :)

-smiles- well my characters tribal gear usually consists of a simple but elegent loin cloth of heavy black silk covered in silver runes running down the sides and weighted down with 3 carved silver bells. its meant for tribal/ city wear so to speak so it has sewn in pouches on the inside to conceal things. i've been trying to get a picture of this done for some time now
Well, PHOTOSHOP is just a media. A tool, if you like. AND I have not mastered it, NO WAY!! But I start working with it as I work with my traditional media. I don't rely on the goodies and filters anymore... I try to use it as it should be: just a tool!
And mixing media... is something I already did. :) Pictures, where I painted the background and added digital characters. :D
But well, who knows what comes in the future.

*cough cough* Hehe... well, a Draconian has been my reference for this picture! :)
I just loved their armor... and since PYRON is a winged character, I needed something similar.
I always say: if you "copy" or need some good reference, do it well. Good reference is better than badly self-made.
Though... there is NO "good" or "bad" in art!!!!! ;) Everyone does what he/she can!

Eindeutig wieder ein geniales, atmospährisches Bild das du da produziert hast...wie sollte es anders sein. ;)
Und ich konnte es mir nicht verkneifen dasselbe wie ein Vorposter über mir zu denken...da ich früher ja selbst gerne die Drachenlanze-Romane gelesen und zugehöriger Bilder bei der Seite eines Freunde gesehen habe, kamen mir auch als erstes die Drakonier in den Sinn. ^..^
Aber auch schön das du deine Freude an den Photoshop-Filtern gefunden hast... ich würde die auch nicht missen wollen. ;)

Vielen Dank, dir! *drück* Fakt ist, das ist wirklich mal eine digitales Kunstwerk, welches ich gemalt habe, als wären es "echte" Medien. UND dieses "Malerische" gibt dem Bild mehr Leben, ja.
Und DARCONIER... klar, hey. Man muss immer von den besten Vorlagen/Künstlern lernen, hehehehehe.
Was FILTER angeht... ist nur Spielzeug. Man muss es einzusetzen wissen! :D

1) The arms are not too short, BUT he is walking quite "ducked"... I mean, he's lurking... sorta. :P This way, he appears smaller. If you'd put him on a stretcher, it'd be more clear! XD
But maybe, my arm designs are just more powerful than legs.
2) I wanted the tail to point to the background.... it's not so well done, I agree.
BUT this is a human/dragon hybrid... so, the tail must not be SO large! There are still human genes inside. :)
