Despite our affinity for the air, even flying folks need to take a walk every now and again. Especially if that walk takes us up to high places where we can pretend as though we’re flying! :P
One can’t really see from the picture, but mine were not the only prints pressed into the soft snow that morning. Two sets of prints which looked to be small and feline traced up the mountain path I followed, occasionally veering from their course to stop nearby a protruding twig or flower. I didn’t see the animals in question, but I can imagine a couple of chummy cats taking a walk together on that cold morning, heading for a high place to survey their kingdom (and if you’ve ever owned a cat, you’ll know that it is definitely THEIR kingdom).
