I didn't know that you were going to upload it already u.u Should of have letted me know before hand so I would be able to comment on it sooner.
I really do like how this turned out. Glad too that you added in the TB-303 like I requested. Surprised though you didn't say much about me in the pic description :P Surprised many didn't ask much about it other than the fact that they loved the coloring. So yea I requested a pic of myself doing what I love to do best and that is DJ. <.< I though that the simple touch of cell shading would work better for what ideas I had and it was easier on my pockets to afford too. I thank though the Fuzzle for adding a bit more details with the hair and fur and for the paticence that he has had with me touching up the picture even more.
I do say that I am indeed satisfied with Fuzzle Pup. I have several ideas and after seeing how this turned out I may ask for other comissions from him in the future that he can count on.
Fuzzle to you I request that you post that this picture is copyrighted to me and the name Red Reynart is under TradeMark under class 9 and 25 trademark titles. <.<

<.< If this is a month late sorry ^^ he he. I don't get a message when someone comments on another artist page :P Yupper your right on the dotter there that is a TB-303 unmodded just how I have in real that is a TR-808 Drummatrix and that is the Roland-G Keyboard with a quite large Kaosspad if I may add next too it O.o I have seveeral more tools I uses that you don't see in the piccy but there just isn't room for all of it XD..
I've considered acquiring some of the old classic roland gear, however it goes for just way too much these days, and isn't always in the best state of repair - then again, i want a Korg MS-20, MS-50, and the SQ-10 (I think that's the number, it's the sequencer) and those are even more expensive *laughs nervously* I've never gotten a chance to try the roland keyboards, but I'd kill for an original Virus KB (keyboard version of the B, the pretty much go-to standard for industrial music)
O.o you have pretty high standards to your music >.> and really old school too. O.o so I don't see the harm in saying: yeah when it comes to vintage hardware there is nothing that can compare to the sounds they can produce :P modern software so puts the old school fellas like us to shame OH well what a pitty we just blast our new tunes.
PS yeah I know how it is finding the old hardwares and such.. Just a TB-303 was a really lucky find <.< and even though I hate Ebay that is where I got it again really lucky it was very good and worked other than the person was nice to go through.. (i been in scams i ebay before ISH) Wish ya luck in your search to aquire more gear yourself ^^.

Many thanks, the Kor g MS series is a pain to find these days apparently, especially the MS-50 and SQ-10's... Trying to remember what kit my "dream" setup would have... Virus KB, Virus TI KB, most of roland's gear (101, 303, 404, 606, 808, 909 come to mind), the ARP 2600...
And for somewhat retro (as well as new) stuff... Nord Lead 2, Analogue Solutions Vostok ( http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~c.....sor/vostok.htm ) , Analogue Solutions Red Square ( http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~c.....ncussor/rs.htm ), Future Retro Revolution, Future Retro XS, Future Retro 777, Minimoog Voyager Old School, Dave Smith Prophet '08, Doepfer A100 setup, Bleep labs Thingamagoop ( http://bleeplabs.com/ ), and a Metasonix S-1000 ( http://metasonix.com/index.php?opti.....&Itemid=61 ). Yeah, I love my analogue sound ^_^
Indeed, it is a major pity that hardware has pretty much gone the way of the dodo when it comes to music production - then again, i do know that Reason and Reaktor will be tools I use alongside the hardware I'm planning on acquiring over the next few years as they play -VERY- well with ProTools (my preferred DAW, however Roland's offering might sway me over due to the simple fact that the mixer I want ( http://www.allen-heath.co.uk/zed/zed-R16.asp ) works best with Sonar (the MIDI doesn't play well with ProTool's proprietary setup)

O.o wow.... I cant belive your list of gear you have there, ha ha Moog XD Now that is old school.. That is pretty neat, I have heard of many of them synths before but a few there >.> I had to look up and already im interested in them.
<.< >.> and I use reason too... just not so much still trying for all synth hardware O.o but one thing I will agree upon is programing some of the synths *ones with midi* the layout of reason makes it easier to locate where in time you are -.- for i have mad overwrite errors before and lost my patterns. :P
(you know like with the sequencers)
<.< pc isn't all bad too for O.o I think it was the MS-1 that could save midi data and well I couldn't find it to save my midi patterns from my sequencer so, a program called midi ox and a pc really helped there <.< ...
O.o so far im finding your passion for old school dance music quite facinating.

Sadly, that list of gear is a wishlist, not actually owned (yet). As you might expect from the gear list, I'm bent more towrads industrial and hardstyle, as well as the harsher grittier styles of music that exist. Clean music is great, but I always like a bit of grit, sounds more realistic to me and conveys a wider image (unfortunately, it can be too gritty and harsh, like say Psyclon Nine's music).
When it comes to software, I'm still mixed on the whole ideas. Hybrid setups like the Virus TI as well as Digidesign's Eleven Rack (just recently released guitar amplifier - http://digidesign.com/index.cfm?lan.....p;itemid=39631 ), I like where they're going, especially since the whole focus of those products is to bring both factions toegether (aka hardware versus software camps). I'll admit, my personal belief on the whole hardware versus software debate is that one should go with what they wish, although my personal bias is towards hardware because when you spend $2-4k on ONE piece of gear you're going to do everything you possibly can with that piece of gear, as opposed to software where you can easily purchase 15-20 VST/RTAS instruments with the same amount of money. Then again, I'm someone who's willing to put out $2,400 CAD on a mixer (Allen&Heath Zed R16, however I'm waiting for the R24 to be released, which hopefully will be soon. Pictures and a bit of info are scheduled to be released at NAMM this year, Jan 14-17 or so if I remember correctly)...
And thanks for the compliment on the passion for older gear :) Unfortunately I haven't had much of a chance to get to listen to a lot of what I'd deem old school dance music (like, say 80s to early 90s), but I've been listening to various things when I can :)

=) Interesting and your welcome for the comment <.<
and i get the point about the software vs hardware. In my opinion, yeah you can get more off of software but to me its all digital manipulation and some samples just don't have the right tone. Hardware is more expensive but has better tones and manipluation is cleaner sounding and you can definately get what you want.. Just a bit more pricy and is limited on all the sounds it can produce.. <.< well there is always two sides to everything ya? >.>

Just a random question - you have an 808, a 303 and a kaoss pad. Some really awesome gear. So why on earth did you get a Juno-G of all things? Keyboard wise (especially synthesizer wise) you could've done a lot better. Alesis Andromeda, Prophet 08, D-50, DX-7, ESQ-1 etc.
Just wondering.
Just wondering.
A:Cheaper B:More range in the keyboard. C:Convienence... And yes cheaper.. A workstation like that keyboard you have there runs well over $1200-1500. The Equipment that i have such as my Tr-808 and TB-303 i got for cheap.. How? The person whom sold it to me said it was once there fathers and I unno there life story but the daughter didn't know anything about it and had no need for it so really what a deal.. A synth though is harder to find no matter what people tend to be more aware of the true cost so I bought the best for cheap and that was the Juno.. The Kaoss pad was used so that I got for cheap too. <.< So im more of a bargan hunter. You can hear some of the instruments im useing here on my user page o.o I have much music I uploaded.
actrully its a TR-909 XD he couldn't fit all the synths I have in this picture and to me it looks good since there is a ballence between the light and dark synths shown in this picture.
TR-909, TB-303 :The light.
Juno-G, Kaoss Pad :KP3 The dark
XD a normal set up would be too many synths to even manuver...

I've owned a 909 and that's not what they look like. That's a TR-808 layout on a white board in the picture. :p

O.o How did I not catch that? XD Seriously The original TR-808 that I own is as is in the picture Black with the red, yellow, orange white keys.. XD here it shares the same color scheme as the 909 so I never noticed lol.
O.o you owned a TR-909?! =O OWNED?! >.< why don't you still own it?
I happly own the Tr-606 Tr-808, and Tr-909 along with the Tb-303 XD I love them so much that I will never give them up..
