I know many do not have much interest in this, but some do, so, here it is.
So... Here's a photo Meme of my Truck! So there! Vengeance!!

This is a 1965 Ford F-100. I am it's 3th owner, this is it's second paint only and there has Never been any rust in it.
I just finish restoring the motor and repainting the whole inside of the hood. (it has a 300, the good old ford Classic)
It runs like new if not better then 1965 =P

Nice truck. Take care of her, and she'll take care of YOU.
My first truck was a ford f-100 with a 300 six cyl. mine was a 1980 short bed step side. 3 speed on the colum. no AC. no cruise. NO options..... but i wouldnt have traded it for the world! Damn, I miss that truck.
"new" truck is a 1994 f150 ext. cab 4x4 with a 351 and a 4spd auto. push button 4x4 and low gear. normally I wouldnt be caught driving a 4x4, let alone a "push button" 4x4..... but up here in the middle of Wisconsin, we sometimes get a LOT of Bleeping snow all at once. I have had to use 4x4 more times since moving her ethan in all the rest of my LIFE!
Long live Ford!

Sounds like you had the same motor as me . I find it fun to shift them but not as satisfactory as floor shifters lol
I am, my self, looking into a winter 4x4 truck, but don't need a car in the winter that much so, we will see (I know, 2 cars in summer but none for the winter >.< )
THere's no douth that ford have been great with trucks, even if there 1985 to 90ish where not that great. THey have been picking up and, a strong maker.
I've been thinking Mustang 1968 for a wile, we will see =P

Beautiful job on the restoration! Those old Ford straight sixes were built to run forever and had a fair amount of power. I had a '68 Mustang which had a 200 cid 6 banger and it had a surprising amount of acceleration. Many people thought that it had a V8 under the hood.
