About time I drew Dr. Vincent Seyfert's (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26627699/) first wife! Everyone meet Helena! She's a pretty... cool cat ;D

Kinda forgot that nip-nops on gals might account as mature, so I quickly cobbled a no-nip-version together for this acc, lol.

Helena Seyfert was a member of the, at the time, noveau riche von Bergen family that had gotten integrated into the local aristocracy by their sheer wealth due to them owning several factories. Despite her wealth, she fell in love with a childhood friend... the at the time rather unremarkable Vincent Seyfert and, much to her parents dismay, got eventually enganged. However, with Vincent becoming a doctor, the tensions in her family slowly disappeared.

Despite her religiousness as a devout catholic conflicting with Vincent's disinterest in the topic, as well as his interest in the slowly growing occult scene, they were very happy together. The two were planning their wedding when Vincent disappeared after one of his many tries to dabble in the occoult; looking like he was successful in summoning something this time.

Thinking her fiancé was eaten by a monster he summoned, after she looked into the book he was using, she went to her local priest, a fox called Father Michael, for help. Father Michael then invited her into the organization he was part of; The "Société de recherche, de confinement et d'évaluation du paranormal", also known as the "Society of Research, Containment and Evaluation of the Paranormal" or "Gesellschaft für Forschung, Eindämmung und Einschätzung des Paranormalen", (often just called "La Société") a french-british-german secret society and joint effort in studying, evaluating and, if necessary, containing or eliminating paranormal places, objects and creatures for the good of the people; specialising in werebeasts, vampires and fae.

While in La Société, she became a hunter, specialising in werebeasts and miscellaneous threats, hoping to one day kill the monster that "ate her Vincent". Over the years, she eventually was able to track down the powerful "Rhineland Monster" and, seeing parallels to what was written in Vincent's summoning book, started pursuing it. When its track became cold in a city, and all its previous victims somehow came back without any memories, she eventually realized, when she noticed a familiar name on a door to a doctor's office... The monster didn't KILL vincent... He WAS Vincent!

Vincent and Helena came back together when they talked things out and finally married. After a few more adventures, the two settled down, Helena retired as an active member of La Société and became a "watcher", looking over Vincent while she stood by his side when he opened his company.

Because of Helena's religiousness, she refused Vincent's offer to make her near-immortal like him, so she eventually started aging while her husband stayed the same. While this didn't make their relationship any less loving, they had to move it into private to keep the public from finding out about Vincent's immortality as he remixed the memories of the people around him to explain why he never aged.

Eventually, Helena died of old age, which caused Vincent to almost fall appart. Nonetheless, he pulled himself back together to somehow fulfill her last wish: "Please move on from me. Find someone who can stay with you longer than I could... Someone who maybe could make you even happier than I ever could. And one day, when you two move on too... I'd be glad if you could introduce us." And while Vincent's many tries to find a new woman to love often resulted in failure, eventually a certain ram entered is life and opened up a completely new possibility...
