…and once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through; how you managed to survive.
You won’t even be sure whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain-
When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in…
That is what this storm is all about.
“I love the rain. It is so pure, cleansing…especially when you need to wash the blood of your fallen opponents off of you.”
Whisper watched as the rain swept across her blade, almost as if the rain was cleansing it of its past sins and terror it brought upon others. As she stood on the top of a nearby roof, letting the darkness of the night and storm mask her presence, she observed her next target.
She adjusted the hood over her already soaked head to keep from getting wetter than she already was- not that she minded the rain. If anything, it was somewhat therapeutic to an extent, as it forced her to concentrate even more to avoid the storm clouding her mind and judgment...
It was an unusually wet, yet mild winter season, even for this area. However, the farmers did not seem to mind as they had already began planting their crops for the season. Whisper on the other hand, had some bodies to reap-
Digging in her left pocket, she pulled out a intricately folded piece of parchment paper and looked over it. On it, were the names of several people, some of which included cliffnotes and little details she felt relevant to know about said person- such as how to locate them, their close friends and family, their jobs, or how dangerous they were, if at all.
Her current target was barely worth raising a claw over…but she had to take him out before he hurt anyone else.
Tapping a single claw against her chin, she had nothing left to do now but to watch….and wait. Soon the lights would go out in his house and then revenge would be hers.
It is a good night to take out the unworthy and wicked…
Also, look who’s got a new outfit and ready to take out some bad guys! Her usual outfit is currently at the Underground dry cleaners while they try to remove some stubborn blood…err, ketchup stains from it. Thankfully, her agency takes good care of its elite fighters and assassins, and offers them a change of wardrobe at no addition expense-
I want to give a HUGE thank you to firetally, not just for this awesome piece, but designing a new look for Whisper- am I the only one getting an Assassin’s Creed vibe from her outfit? And she wonders why I commission her so much: pieces like this one for one thing! LOL
…also, that rain effect on the sword is just perfection~
An experimental piece I received from firetally of my badass lyolf. I gave her artistic freedom, and as they say, the rest is history. And I have to admit, I have a lot of fun creating descriptions to match pieces like this one; they really test my creative and writing abilities!
