“Whisper, that guy is checking you out!” her friend nudged her and pointed at a quirky looking guy in the distance, trying to get her to look over at him.
Whisper, being the tsundere, yet indifferent lyolf that she was, merely waved her friend off and went back to eating her lunch while reading over her text messages. It was Friday, along with her only day off for the week, and she really was not in the mood to deal with idiots, much love-struck twits-
…though secretly it made her somewhat happy that guys did notice her. Adjusting her glasses, she let out a huff, “It’s not like I care. If he wants to talk to me he should come over here and say something.”
“The last guy who did that, you called him an idiot!!!” Exasperated, her friend sulked and slid back into her chair. Whisper had a tendency of making her friend’s head hurt…a lot.
Look at that grumpy but cute face! She looks like she’s going to beat up the next person that calls her cute…and then thank them for being so nice and noticing, LOL.
I got this piece a while ago, but it seemed so fitting as a post-Valentine’s, Single Awareness Day piece, I decided to hold off on posting it until today!
Whisper really is happy, even though she looks grumpy and mean she’s not! Whisper is just…not in the mood to be bothered? Yeah let us go with that~
Also, look at the cute outfit the artist designed for Whisper. I really like seeing my girl in casual attire instead of just warrior and assassin attire all the time; it’s a nice change of pace for her. And yes, Whisper is wearing glasses! Believe it or not, she does wear them when she’s not out fighting baddies.

LOL, when a girl notices you, but you're too oblivious to realize it. Yeah, that sounds like me too! I had that happen at work once; I was out walking around the campus on my break and one of my coworkers that passed me said some guy in a car was checking me out!
Me: When?! I was too busy walking to notice...
Just don't be too grumpy and cranky; you don't want to scare off potential friends or people that do want to get to know you!

Hey, there's nothing wrong with having a gay friend as long as he doesn't hit on you! Seriously, a friend is a friend- just be sure to let him know in a polite manner if the topic comes up that you are straight! And leave it at that. Unlike furries, most regular gay guys back off once they know you're straight and won't bother you, lol.

I just would like to say your character (also your entire page) is such a refreshing read.
I do love seeing ladies with long white hair as in anime, and glasses too. So far, batting both of those out of the park.
A question tho... Is Whisper inspired from the character Uld from Ahh My Goddess anime/manga? If so, high 4's ya.
Will there be more pics of Whisper? And yes, I know there will be no adult content of her, she's pretty just as she is. (Altho, if I could try a pencil sketch sometime of her in a Japanese school outfit, but that might be awhile yet...)

Ah, I have not seen that anime in years! The nostalgia. No, Whisper is not based off Urd. It's a LONG story behind Whisper's origin, but to paraphrase, I wanted something unique and not cliche, while reflecting my real self as well, so she was created by merging a feline and canine together.
Oh yes, there will be much more art of her! Her fur will actually be changing colors shortly (her fur transitions colors based on the season) so I will be slowing down on posting art of her white fur, minus a few little pieces I get here and there. By next month, I will have lots of exciting, new art of her and her spring version!
