hehe I know that feeling.

Heck even more interestingly, I had designed an OC for a mascot contest on a discord server, a lil cute purple art-themed longma (like a horse dragon), and I was really proud of him and many people liked him, but no one else entered the contest XD A few people even said they didn't think they could beat my submission.
so he won by default. But recently, there was a bunch of drama around it and the owner decided he wanted to make new mascots cus he didn't like that it won by default.
And this went on for a while and made me feel increasingly stressed and upset about it.
But eventually, it was like officialyl settled that he wasn't the mascot any more but I was just like you know what, that's fine. I get to have him back! They thanked me for being a good sport and I was just like
*Picks him up* "I'll just be taking this then. Pleasure doing business, good day" hehe

But it felt super nice like "I just get to keep him now" and be done with all that
