Hybrid on Island
Beach Fun
The large group of species soon made it to the same beach where Nicholas had saved Carla the first time from Logan. There were others, but this one was right by the hotel and simply called South Beach. It certainly had enough room for everyone and was one of the most visited beaches. Despite the fact Carla had trouble here, she felt safe with Nicholas here with her. They had changed into swimsuits beforehand as the text sent to the male from this morning had stated today would be spent on the beach and in the evening they would all go out for drinks. Nicholas already had his top off along with the glasses and cross, and it was revealed he had muscle in the chest and abs. All the other ladies but Carla had come out and he had seen Isabel the fennec reveal her bikini in a bit of a teasing was to the corsac fox Billy. The fosky was just wondering where Carla was when he turned and as if it was on cue, there she was. The male’s eyes widened in shock and he blushed, just staring at her.
“What are you staring at?” she asked with amusement, blushing a little to. This was due to her scarlet red bikini that fit her frame well. It was topless like the one piece as well the long-haired male had seen her in before.
“Well now, I’m for the water!” Remy the male cacomistle stated. “You with me Sophie?”
“Sure,” the female cacomistle replied, also in a bikini like all the other girls. Due to being divorced and now single, this person felt that maybe spending some time in the sun and fun would do her some good. She didn’t mind admitting that Remy was a good looking and handsome male, but just having gone through a divorce, the female wasn’t ready for a relationship yet. Still, she didn’t mind spending time with him and found already that it was fun.
“I feel like going to it as well,” Carla said to Nicholas.
“Then follow me, my lady,” he replied and put on a bow. The vixen giggled as it was like the fosky was treating her like a princess. It was cute and touching. He then put away is glasses and necklace.
They went towards the water and then somehow it became a fun chase and race to the liquid. Nicholas made it barely before Carla jumped onto him. They went down but the male quickly surfaced with a laugh and splashed the vixen when she came up. The female shrieked and did the same thing to him. Suddenly a shout made them look up to see the others coming into the water. The first part of the day was spent in the liquid. When it was time to eat, there was food to get nearby. Nicholas and Carla were sitting on their towels with everyone else with eating and talking, But when it came time to let the food digest, some were for walking on the beach, and others to tan. The fosky and vixen with him decided to sit on the beach. By this point others had come, some of them children with their families. The two watched these with smiles. “The kids look like they’re having fun,” Nicholas stated.
“Mhm,” Carla agreed.
“What about you?”
“Sure I am!”
“That’s good,” the male replied. “I’m surprised though that you wanted to spend time with me… you know, cause I’m shorter than you…”
“As if that would be a reason!” the vixen shot back, giving him a playful shove. The two shared a laugh. “No… that doesn’t matter to me at all…”
Nicholas felt relief at that. “I guess you’ve hung out with people shorter than you before,” he said.
“I’m a bit tall,” Carla admitted. “But still… height isn’t a thing for me. I remember one guy I did date a little that was shorter than me.” She covered her mouth since that came out without her meaning to and she blushed.
“Oh? Whatever happened to him?” The fosky was asked more due to curiosity than due to jealousy.
“Well… it would’ve worked had he not moved…”
“I see. I’ve had that before as well. She was nice and we connected but she moved to.”
The two were then silent for a bit, just process this information. Carla didn’t know why she had mentioned that to him. But then a loud giggle interrupted them. They saw Isabel and Billy laughing. Nicholas smiled and shook his head with amusement. “That’s my friend for you,” he told Carla. “He probably will have her soon.”
“He likes the quick fling?” she asked.
“He’s had one, but I think this time it’s real feelings.”
Carla didn’t know what else to say but that was okay as some of the other males then came up with their female companions to talk to the fosky a little. Still the things they had said stuck in their minds. But Carla really did have a wonderful time but even more so since Nicholas was with her. The sun was setting when the group got the drinks, still in their bathing suits as the bar allowed it and it was due to being right on the beach. The talking still happened, but when the drinks were through, the group decided to split up, some heading to dinner, others to different parts of the hotel. The fosky and vixen with him were for eating and got a nice meal. “Thank you for this,” she said when night had fallen.
“I’m glad you enjoyed yourself Carla,” he replied. Both were blushing a little. “We’ll be doing more stuff again tomorrow.”
“Then I’ll be there. Maybe my other two friends can join us.”
“Then let’s hope my other two do join so they won’t be lonely.” The fosky and vixen then said goodnight and were still smiling. They couldn’t help but wonder if this was the first day, then what would the others have in store and how would they go? There was only way to find out.
