Well, this one certainly turned out well! Ever since  Reyn Goldfur did such a good job with his rendition of my...slightly crazy hyena Letsego Viljoen, I thought it might be cool to turn him loose on another of my characters. This time, my professional hitwoman Ilsa Hoffmeyer!

However, since I am a fan of his entertaining af comic Caves and Critters, I decided to have him give Ilsa a fantasy setting tone. So here she is in a fantasy world, doing the same job but in a different world. Sure, she might still use knives, but firearms have been replaced with crossbow bolts and arrows. Of course, she still uses the time honored tradition of coating her blades and bolts with the batrachiotoxin she secretes from her skin.

He did a phenomenal job with this piece, and I am deeply appreciative of it. The lighting and tone of the picture is so perfect. She is a silent and poisonous assassin, and she has the air of a true master of her craft. And this smiling blue face is the last thing seen by many a target.
