My contribution for the werewolf Calendar 2009. The month I have is June and the quote as follows.

“Werewolves are in full control of themselves in all forms, and shift at will. Shifting takes only a few minutes, and can be under a minute when practiced often. They are very clever and retain their intelligence at all times. However, when shifted, their thought processes are more animal-like, and are based first on action instead of comprehension, and understanding speech takes some concentration.”
