Every year, Cinna's tribe holds a sacred ritual filled with food, music, conversation, sex, and most importantly, dancing. This year, it was Cinna's turn to perform the dance in the traditional clothing. He's tired, but he did well. He's earned this rest. His dance has surely brought his tribe another year of good hunts, and fertility.
I'm so excited about this piece. Not only did I need some variety in my gallery (more color, different clothing, less penis), but it's done by one of my favorite artists, one that I've been obsessed with for literally years. I'd like to thank
Khuraji for choosing me for a commission. This turned out more beautifully than I possibly could've dreamed.
I wanted to commission Khuraji for this because I knew it would be something different. Something a bit out of my comfort zone. I normally find artists that will draw Cinna as a bit more gritty, more traditionally masculine, but that doesn't show the complete picture. Cinna, despite his background, has a soft heart, and cares for the people around him very deeply. I commissioned Khuraji because I knew that no matter what he chose to do with the pose or setting, his unique and beautiful style would capture that softness; that moment of vulnerability, and I was so right. Please enjoy this gorgeous art, and please go check out the artist's page, and Twitter (linked below). Have a wonderful day, everyone. *Hugs*
